American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift Oncology RN requiring a CA RN license and ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification for a 13-week hospital assignment.

• Oncology unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
• Uses EPIC EMR system

• Active CA RN license (Temp or Perm, no EMSA) in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy certification required
• Minimum 2 years of concurrent experience in oncology specialty
• Travel nursing experience required
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months
• 1 supervisory level professional reference required
• Valid copies of all required certifications must be provided

• Provide oncology nursing care on a dedicated oncology unit
• Interview availability required, including same-day and next 3 business days preferred
• Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius to be eligible, except for LVNs/MAs
• Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months are considered local and not eligible
• Maximum 7 days RTO permitted, with no additional requests after consideration
• First-time travelers are not considered for this role
• Returning staff and travelers may reapply after a 1-year waiting period
• Extensions are capped at 1 year, followed by a required 1-year break before returning
• International travelers must have 1 year of recent or current U.S. work experience
• ICU, SDU, and Tele RNs may be required to float at or below skillset, potentially to another campus
