Drywall Project Engineer

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge MS Excel
• Must have knowledge MS Word
• Construction experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• Deadline & Detail-Oriented

• Enter Requests for Information (RFI’s), for review of the Project Manager.
• Copy, file and distribute RFI’s as determined by Project Manager.
• Send memo to Construction Manager if it has been determined that the RFI will have cost, that pricing is forthcoming.
• Produce, send and input in Excel no cost RFI responses as determined by Project Manager.
• Enter RFI’s in pending change order log that have been determined to have cost by the Project Manager.
• Prepare cost proposals to review with Project Manager before sending to Client.
• Process and enter submittals in submittal log in document filing system.
• Track and follow up with submittal approvals for us and Subcontractors in Viewpoint.
• Make copies of paperwork as determined by Project Manager and distribute.
• Prepare transmittal for Closeout Documents and give to Project Manager for approval.
• Deliver Closeout Documents to the Clients.
• Pre-planning with Subcontractors and Project Manager. Document meetings with Subcontractors. Distribute and file meeting minutes.
• Additional duties and tasks to support other Estimator/Project Managers as directed.
