The role of a caregiver at Golden Care is to provide high-quality, non-medical care and support services to clients, delivering care with professionalism, empathy, compassion, kindness, and in a respectful manner. Some caregiver duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Provide a safe and secure environment by monitoring the health and safety of clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia or related behaviors.
• Assist clients with all their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing to maintain a clean living environment.
• Meal preparation and assist with feeding if needed.
• Transferring & ambulation—provide safety, stability and support while client is mobile and during transfers.
• Transportation (appointments, grocery shopping, errands, outings, etc.).

• Follow clients’ plans of care, safety precautions and procedures.
• Monitor, observe and report suspected concerns or changes in clients' condition or health status.
• Communicate effectively and respond to all forms of communication from the office in a timely manner.

• Must have at least 3 months of professional experience working as a caregiver.
• Must be, or willing to register as a California Home Care Aide (HCA).
• Must pass a criminal background check by DOJ/FBI.
• Must have a current negative Tuberculosis (TB) test or be willing to complete one.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must provide 2 forms of  as a driver’s license, social security, passport, and/or birth certificate.

• Passion and desire to help others improve their quality of life, maintaining clients' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for basic communication and care documentation.
