Role Overview

  • Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and workforce management programs
  • Ability to use scheduling software effectively
Responsibilities
  • Work with your HR leader to anticipate and address specific talent and staffing needs for each area of the business, ensuring the right mix of experience and enthusiasm to serve guests.
  • Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates with the right skills and experiences.
  • Support team member and leader training needs and advocate for continuous learning.
  • Serve as an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices.
  • Be approachable, available, and collaborative in listening to team members and solving issues with the appropriate leaders.
  • Deliver on all Human Resources processes and programs to maximize engagement and minimize business disruption.
  • Assist leaders in following company compliance policies that mitigate risk to the team member experience.
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks.
  • Engage with guests to help solve specific needs in a welcoming way.
  • Thank guests and express appreciation for their choice to shop at Target.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Work safely at all times, comply with safety policies and best practices, and correct hazards when possible.
  • Perform all other duties as required by the business.

  • Capacity to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.
Physical Requirements & other duties
  • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
  • Lift products up to 10 pounds regularly without additional assistance.
  • Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties, including but not limited to Drive‑Up, carry‑out, etc.
  • Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays); reliable and prompt attendance necessary.
