Certified Nursing Assistant Compensation and Benefits :

- Compensation : $15 - $20 per hour
Responsibilities include:
- Helping clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, serving meals, assisting with eating, turning, and ambulating clients
- Taking vital signs
- Examining clients for bruises, blood in urine, or other injuries/wounds
- Collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members
- Providing and emptying bedpans
- Lifting clients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.
- Cleaning and sanitizing client areas, including changing bed sheets
- Staying up-to-date on CNA training, policies, and procedures
Requirements include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
- Ability to work independently and with guidance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Good communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Up-to-date identification
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent personal hygiene
