Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU Float Pool provides individualized, age-specific, and culturally appropriate care to patients and families. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates safe and therapeutic care. The role involves collaboration with healthcare team members, patient advocacy, and ensuring quality outcomes. The RN is responsible for identifying patient needs, developing care plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating progress towards goals.

Additionally, the RN addresses educational needs, adapts care to diverse socio-cultural variables, and coordinates with other healthcare team members to optimize patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Active CA RN license
• Certifications:
  
  CPR, ACLS, NIH
• At least three years of recent RN experience
• At least two years of recent RN experience in a specialty area
