Description
This position is responsible for welding accurate, quality parts according to instructions and within specified time frame, using the appropriate tools and/or equipment according to safety and quality standards. Candidate should be able to perform adjustments needed to ensure factory settings and specifications by using schematics, engineering documents and precedent to weld parts and submitting welded parts to quality control or appropriate team leader.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Fabricate parts as directed by Supervisor
- Understand and perform weld machine setup
- Understand and read blueprints
- Perform accurate, quality fabrication in a timely manner
- Submit fabricated parts to Quality Control.
- Maintains tools, equipment, and workspace
- Complies with Established Policies
- Clock in and out of work orders.
- Regularly clean tools, equipment, and workspace throughout the shift.
- Clean and detail tools, equipment, and workspace at the end of every shift.
- Follow instructions regarding routine maintenance and/or treatment for tools, equipment, and workspace.
- Complies with established procedures.
- Manages time and resources by using company resources in order to maximize productivity and accomplish tasks on time.
- Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment by actively participating in company safety programs.
- Comply with all aspects of the corporate environmental, health and safety program.
- MIG welding experience is required (3 year minimum).
- TIG welding experience a plus.
- Blueprint reading.
- $24.00-$29.00
