Welder

This position is responsible for welding accurate, quality parts according to instructions and within a specified time frame, using the appropriate tools and/or equipment according to safety and quality standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Fabricate parts as directed by Supervisor
• Understand and perform weld machine setup
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Perform accurate, quality fabrication in a timely manner
• Submit fabricated parts to Quality Control
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace
• Comply with established policies
• Clock in and out of work orders

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Regularly clean tools, equipment, and workspace throughout the shift
• Clean and detail tools, equipment, and workspace at the end of every shift
• Follow instructions regarding routine maintenance and/or treatment for tools, equipment, and workspace
• Comply with established procedures
• Manage time and resources to maximize productivity and accomplish tasks on time
• Participate actively in company safety programs to promote an injury-free environment
• Adhere to all aspects of the corporate environmental, health, and safety policies

SKILLS:

• Minimum of 3 years of MIG welding experience
• TIG welding experience is a plus
• Blueprint reading skills

PAY RATE:

• $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
