Proposal Manager

Position Summary

The range of the Proposal Manager encompasses a full breadth of TEi product lines including Condenser, Feedwater Heaters, Moisture Separator Reheaters, Industrial Coolers, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers for Power & Process and Specialty Heat Exchangers. The Proposal Manager will be accountable for the development and implementation of proposal strategies to maximize opportunities, close sales and handover projects in a timely and efficient manner maximizing the ability for the execution team to meet the overall project objectives, margins, and deliverables.

• Reviews customer specifications and identifies pertinent commercial items.
• Develops/reviews proposal estimates and schedules.
• Evaluates and minimizes risk in accordance with company standards.
• Ensures proposal is compliant with RFP and other source documents.
• Modifies proposal in response to amendments, changes and management insight.
• Conforms contracts by negotiating final open items.

• Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited college is preferred.
• Engineering, Scheduling or Estimating experience.
• 3 years of Sales experience in Oil & Gas and/or Energy/ Power Industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
• Flexibility in schedule, initiative, willingness to learn, maintain effective and professional interaction with all levels.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize the deadlines.
• PMP Certification is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
