Housekeeper (Full Time)

Join Crothall Healthcare for a HOUSEKEEPER (FULL TIME) role.

Location:

University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, 701 East Charles Street, La Plata, MD 20646. Online applications only.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, rotating weekends and holidays. Full-time, hours vary.

Pay: $17.00 per hour (fixed).

Performs light cleaning duties in hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

• Provides quality customer service to guests.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstery.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers.
• Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes up beds and changes linens as required.
• Realigns furniture and amenities per layout.
• Responds to guest queries and requests.
• Responds to calls for housekeeping problems like spills and broken glasses.
• Contributes to team efforts and exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior hospitality, housekeeping, or customer experience preferred.
• Must perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
