Spring Dell Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Career Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting people with disabilities in guiding them through assessments, internships, job searches, interviews, resume s and promotions. The Career Coach will play a key role in both seeking employment opportunities for people with disabilities and providing support within Spring Dell Center's Career Bridges program to facilitate successful employment outcomes.

• Identify the participant's strengths, interests and abilities through assessments and interviews.
• Conduct job searches and outreach to identify employment opportunities for participants.
• Maintain relationships with employers to create job opportunities and facilitate placements.
• Assist participants in preparing for interviews, completing job applications, and developing job-related skills.
• Collaborate with the Employment Transition Manager to implement employment transition plans for participants.
• Provide ongoing support to participants at their volunteer placement and internships, including job coaching and advocacy as needed.
• Utilize materials, curriculum, and modifications appropriate to meet the participant's needs in the areas of communication, technology, problem solving/critical thinking, teamwork, professionalism, self-determination, self-advocacy, resume writing, interview skills, and job search.

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Clean driving record with 2 years driving experience
• Experience working with disabled adults preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Associate degree preferred
• Background in counseling, career coaching, and resume writing a plus
• Advanced computer skills
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the participants and demands of the job
• DDA, LTSS and ICM experience a plus
