Shift: 8:00 a.m.

- 3:30 p.m. Salary: $78,499.20 Annually. This exempt, full-time position focuses on providing professional nursing care to participants in the Day Program and Employment Program while maintaining clinical oversight of unlicensed personnel.

Responsibilities and Duties include on-site nursing care during program operating hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) with flexibility.

• Identify, define, and update skills training for staff to meet the medical needs of participants served.
• Perform initial and regular assessments of participants according to need and regulations.
• Oversee case management and delegate nursing tasks, including administration of medications.
• Identify medical needs and implement appropriate plans, with follow-up as necessary.
• Maintain adequate supplies of medication and medical supplies.
• Attend Person Centered Planning meetings as requested.
• Write, file, and share information from assessments, medical appointments, 45-day reviews, and other nursing notes as needed.
• Follow DDA and Board of Nursing regulations regarding PMOFs, MARs, medication error reporting, med administration training, delegation of nursing functions, 90-day med reviews, etc.
• Counsel individuals regarding health-related issues.
• Teach medication administration classes and certify employees.

• Current RN License in Maryland or a Compact State
• Experience working with disabled adults preferred, but not required
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and follow through on commitments
• Ability to utilize agency database structures for data computation and information assembly
