Salary: $130,000–$150,000
We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations of a growing organization. This individual will provide strong financial leadership while remaining directly involved in the General Ledger, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations. Construction and multi-state experience are essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead all accounting operations, including General Ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Oversee accounting activities across multiple states and entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Provide financial leadership for construction operations, including job costing, WIP, project profitability, and revenue recognition.
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while establishing strong processes and internal controls.
Partner with executive and operational leadership to provide financial insight, improve processes, and support business decisions.
8+ years of progressive accounting experience with Controller-level leadership experience preferred.
Proven construction accounting experience, including job costing, WIP, and project financials.
Strong hands-on expertise with the General Ledger and financial reporting.
Experience managing accounting for multiple states and/or entities.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization.
