Job Description

Theracare is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to deliver exemplary care and enthusiasm in working with our adult population in a Skilled Nursing Care setting.

Qualifications

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders, using therapeutic procedures to restore muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, relieve pain, and improve movement and function. The therapist will collaborate as part of a team providing support and information within the area of Physical Therapy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy
• Current state license/certification
• Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in physical therapy
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
