Direct the activities of the personnel within the bun production and packaging areas in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures, federal, state and local regulations. This position involves a varied schedule with weekend work required.

• Continuously monitor the settings and operations of all equipment to ensure their proper operation.
• Monitor and control all process standards relative to mixing, fermentation, dividing, molding, proofing, baking, slicing, packaging and coding.
• Ensure the adequate supply of all materials needed to complete the production requirements.
• Monitor the completion of all process control and quality assurance documents to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct training and indoctrination of hourly employees in their job functions, GMP, safety and company policies.
• Complete all required documents and reports per company and departmental policies and procedures accurately and on time.
• Maintain communications with department head regarding any issues concerning employees, equipment, process control, quality, safety or sanitation.
• Report any maintenance or sanitation issues to the relevant departments to ensure a safe and productive area.
• Consult and, when necessary, discipline employees to maintain a safe and productive workplace.
• Hear and resolve employee grievances at the first level.
• Assisted other departments as needed and performed other duties assigned.

• Work on feet for the entire shift.
• Perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pulling, pushing, and bending.
• Work in high ambient temperatures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.

• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Good communication and leadership skills.
