American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a fast-paced rural ED requiring an active IN or compact RN license and 1-2 years of ER experience.

• 13-week travel assignment in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department with 23 beds
• Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with no on-call requirements
• Patient ratio of approximately 4 or 5:1
• Floating required every third weekend, which may include floating to the Starke ED
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

• Active RN license (Indiana or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• De-Escalation Training required
• 1-2 years of recent ER experience required
• Driver's license and permanent home address matching  for consideration

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Holiday coverage dependent on facility need
• Limited RTO availability with requests generally under one week
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Previous CHS permanent staff are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
