for assigned projects, plan, and direct construction operations to ensure successful completion of contract work.

• development and implementation of schedules and work plans for assigned projects
• communicate with customers and project team members to coordinate job schedules, changes and address any construction issues that arise
• provide direction to field personnel and ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedules
• ensure project documentation and quantity reporting is accurate and complete
• develop submittals, change orders, and pay requests as assigned
• resolve or participate in resolving construction problems
• review and evaluate daily costs, timesheets, truck, and equipment usage
• monitor employee compliance with safety program requirements, and document and ensure corrective measures are implemented
• coordinate and cooperate with other departments (i.e., quality control, equipment) to ensure that all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc. Are in place to support craft activities and project schedule

• five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in heavy highway and site development preferred
• experience with asphalt, concrete, grading, and underground utility preferred
• strong quantitative and analytical skills
• exceptional organizational skills
• adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• self-motivated; ability to work independently
• good written and verbal communication skills
