Overview

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR Management in supporting the company. This position carries out responsibility in the following functional areas: employee relations, onboarding/processing, recruitment/employment.

Responsibilities
  • Conducts processing effort for Field Construction Requisition s. Works alongside recruiter to ensure applicants arrive onsite in a timely manner.
  • Processing applicants, onboarding, safety training and background/drug screening, badge requests, as required for site facility entry.
  • Maintain personnel and medical files for employees.
  • Scan/upload employee records in employee files.
  • Upload medical records in employee medical files.
  • Send proper new hire documentation to Payroll on hire date.
  • Complete I-9 and E-Verify as needed.
  • Other duties assigned by HR Manager and Director of Business Services.
Qualifications
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as HR Recruiter in Construction industry.
  • Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Professional appearance / Business casual.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, professional attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Prior DISA & Safety Council setup experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed/requested by management/HR.

    Minimal (maximum of 10%)
