The City of La Porte is seeking an Equipment Operator I - Solid Waste to drive and operate light to moderate waste equipment, assist a small crew, and support recycling and composting operations. A high school diploma or GED is desirable, with some equipment operation experience preferred.
Applicants should be capable of performing physically demanding labor and working under supervision as part of a municipal solid waste team. The position is full-time with standard city benefits.
