As a Security Officer - Chemical Access Gate in La Porte, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. Your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to deter security incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Driving duties require a valid driver’s license.

Pay Rate: $14.79 / Hour

• Wed 11:30 AM – 05:30 PM
• Thur 05:30 AM – 05:30 PM
• Fri 05:30 AM – 05:30 PM
• Sat 05:30 AM – 05:30 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and log all entries and exits.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Communicate with site personnel and visitors regarding access control and site policies.
• Report and document unusual incidents, security breaches, or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to maintain a secure environment.

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Age requirements: at least 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal history considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be state or local prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
