*** Ensures reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance on machinery and systems.
* Performs tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
* Reads and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
* Use hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts.
* Assembles, installs, adjusts, and calibrates mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment. Dismantles, repairs, rebuilds, and replaces equipment and parts as needed.
* Adheres to all plant safety policies. Participates in plant-wide safety, housekeeping, Operational Excellence, and Lean Manufacturing programs.
* Provides assistance and guidance to junior maintenance colleagues.
* Execute preventive Maintenance to machines and electrical cabinets such as clean up electrical cabinets, re-tight all electrical terminals, replace damaged devices, organize cables, ensure all components are perfectly grounded, replace bad sensors, replace control and power cables going to the field.
* Manage Work orders on eMaint platform to report all executed tasks on the machines.
* Must be familiar with Programable Logic Controllers (PLC), must be able to diagnose bad input/output card.
* Execute predictive maintenance to Main power cabinets using thermographic camera.
* Troubleshoot electrical faults on machines and electrical devices.
* Root cause analysis for major breakdowns on machines.
* Replace and configure Servo drives, VFD’s and HMI’s.
* Replace and Troubleshoot 480 VAC motors, 120 Vac motors.
* Replace and troubleshoot servo motors.
* Basic Electrical and Industrial Safety, AC DC Circuits and Machinery, Electrical Troubleshooting
* Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes and principles of operation of electrical equipment.
* Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service and replace electronic devices and systems.
* Dismantle, inspect and replace electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts
* Lays-out, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjusts electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
* Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and motors using appropriate tools and testing instruments
* Troubleshoot and repairs electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls.
* Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems.
* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems.
* Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests.
* Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Preferred
-Electrician Journeyman License
* Preferred-Electrician Industrial License
* Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) or technical training and
* 5+ years of recent experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance position required
** Must have completed a minimum of the following courses from an accredited and approved educational source or demonstrated knowledge and skill acquired via sufficient job experience:
* Demonstrates ability to select and operate appropriate hand, power and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasks.
* Possesses an operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* Demonstrates ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders.
* Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to team members.
* Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Possesses the ability to troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble manufacturing equipment.
* Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrates the ability to work effectively under limited supervision.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
