If you have experience working with kids as a tutor, coach, teacher, youth leader, or other role in which you demonstrated a passion for investing in students' future, we want to talk to you.

While we work with students across the country, our immediate openings are:

• Los Angeles County Library Location(s):
  • La Puente, CA 91746

• "High Dosage Tutor" Tues-Thurs, 3:00 PM TO 7:30 PM. ELA/Math, grades 1st-6th. Appointment based 1v1, 3v1.
• "Homework Helper" Tues-Thurs, 3:00 PM TO 7:30 PM & Fri, 1:00 PM TO 5:30 PM. All subjects, grades 1st-12th. Walk ins.

• $22 per hour standard
• $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
• $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor.

• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide homework help to 1st-12 students.

• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• You will pass FBI/DOJ background check
• You can provide 3 professional references
• You have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• You have at least one year of student-related experience
• You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
• You are an effective communicator
• You have reliable transportation
• You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
