Reporting to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, you ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our yellow iron equipment. Responsibilities- Perform complex preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment (including Trucks and Yellow Iron such as Track Type Tractors, Dozers, Excavators, Motor Graders, Wheel Loaders, Wheel Handlers, Front-end Loaders, Haul Trucks, Tractors, forklifts, and company support vehicles).
- Diagnose and repair engines, hydraulic systems, powertrain components, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules and guidelines; document work performed, parts used, and duration of time.
- Complete records such as work orders, PM checklists, and oil samples.
- Utilize a tablet to document work performed, parts used and duration of time.
- Service and maintain other equipment such as light plants, water pumps, welders, and related equipment.
- Refer to site-specific procedures and job descriptions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3 years experience in maintenance & repair of diesel heavy equipment (yellow iron).
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify electrical/mechanical issues and complete tasks safely and timely.
- Ability to read and comprehend service manuals, electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office) and effective communication on cell phone and tablet.
- Acceptable driving record; must possess personal tools.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Strong problem solving, oral communication, and analytical abilities.
- Welder Certification with full fabrication knowledge (Mig/Tig/Arc/Oxy Acetylene/brazing).
- Knowledge of MS Office & Outlook.
- Physical requirements as listed: standing, walking, seeing, hearing, smelling; bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional exposure to unprotected heights and to dust, fumes, chemicals, and noise.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday from 3:30 am - 11:00 am with rotating Saturdays.
Hourly wage range: $37.41 - $44.70/hour.
Compensation and BenefitsBase pay range: $37.41/hr - $44.70/hr benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401K, employee assistance program, life insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
