- Uranium Processing Specialist at any of our Wood offices in BC, AB, or SK. Reporting to the Process Department Manager, this role has the overall responsibility to manage and execute the delivery of process plant designs, including Uranium processing plants, and associated services in designated studies and projects in line with Wood’s organizational objectives and client requirements. Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role.

• Serve as the Senior Process Engineer on projects;
  Plan and coordinate process engineering deliverables and activities on technically complex projects.
• Develop and review process engineering deliverables on schedule including material balances, process design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, operating cost estimates, plant layouts and 3-D models, technical specifications, technical evaluations and provide recommendations for equipment purchases.
• Develop process circuit design from analysis and interpretation of test-work program results or plant data.
• Participate in process plant HAZOP reviews. Participate in design reviews (model reviews, ergonomics, maintainability) and manage resolution of action items.
• Provide metallurgical test work definition, supervision, interpretation, and direction.
• Liaise with client process engineers on design issues and incorporating client requirements in a cost-effective and low-risk manner.
• Provide on-site support during construction and commissioning, or for operational improvement.
• Assist in the development of capital and operating cost estimates for metallurgical processes.
