Responsibilities

  • Preparing bending jobs by reviewing plans, technical drawings and production specifications.
  • Programming and adjusting the CNC press brake according to the metal parts to be manufactured.
  • Performing bending, forming and metal transformation operations using specialized equipment.
  • Moving materials safely using the appropriate lifting equipment, including an overhead crane.
  • Checking the dimensions and quality of parts to ensure they meet manufacturing standards.
  • Ensuring the efficient use of raw materials and keeping material tracking up to date.
  • Selecting and handling materials according to their properties and production requirements.
  • Working closely with the shop team to ensure smooth and productive production.
  • Performing any other related tasks.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma.
  • Relevant experience operating a CNC press brake or similar CNC and conventional equipment.
  • Robust ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of metallurgy and metal properties, including steel drilling.
  • Comfortable using measuring tools and performing quality control checks.
  • Experience with lifting equipment, an asset.
  • Good command of French, both spoken and written.
