NPI Engineering Program Manager – Quanta Manufacturing Nashville
Quanta Nashville (QMN) is a rapidly growing division of Quanta, a Fortune Global 500 company. The NPI Engineering Program Manager is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and ensuring the execution of end‑to‑end NPI processes, driving cross‑functional teams, and ensuring a successful launch of new models into mass production.
Responsibilities- Verify completion of NPI Checklist and customer deliverables for NPI models
- Ensure creation and update of product and process documents such as process flows, assembly SOPs and reference documents for CCBU
- Validate and assist with system setup for NPI models
- Coordinate NPI builds and lead activity for Engineering, PMC, WH, Production, Test, and Quality to meet inspection dates and shipments
- Assist with implementation of ECN’s and reworks needed for production
- Ensure proper training for Operations regarding new products and processes
- Take action in solving problems while exercising judgment and realistic understanding of issues
- Work with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement process improvement projects
- Collect, maintain, and analyze data and metrics to improve TAT and FPY
- Assist with resolving Engineering Holds in a timely manner
- Deal with unresolved situations, frequent change, delays or unexpected events
- Start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering or equivalent
- Program Management Certification preferred
- Two (2) years of manufacturing experience preferred
- PC skills including MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Effective written and verbal communication at all levels, including customer
- Team player able to work efficiently under minimal supervision
- Ability to function and execute in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
- Strong sense of process, detail, and follow‑through
- Creative problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Ability to multi‑task across problem domains and contexts
- Independent and team work capability
- Strong work ethic and drive to get job done
- Ability to work under pressure and in tight schedules
