Brief Description

Position Summary: The Network Engineer LV2 is responsible for working with network environment setup, including Infini Band. The role involves collaborating with customers and vendors to define networking topology and troubleshoot issues.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Designing, configuring, and managing internetworks including Ethernet and Mellanox/NVIDIA Infini Band in High Performance Computing environments.
• Troubleshooting server networking issues between TOR SW, DAC, and NIC.
• Analyzing failures and collaborating with R&D to identify root causes.
• Designing and deploying networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
• Configuring and installing software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
• Monitoring network performance and security measures.
• Maintaining technical documentation.
• Recommending improvements for network performance, capacity, and scalability.
• Implementing and maintaining network operations including routers, firewalls, switches, and servers.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience with Ethernet and Infini Band networks.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCDP) preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues.
• Strong understanding of computer systems and networking protocols.
• Experience with network security and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
  Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise network technologies, including Infini Band.
