FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Distribution Operations Supervisor for a rapidly growing client in the life sciences space. This role represents a great opportunity to join a great company focused on delivering efficiency in the healthcare industry.

• Provide leadership and oversight to day‑to‑day shipping operations
• Maintain and encourage a positive, customer‑focused experience
• Develop Key Performance Indicators and execute on countermeasures as needed
• Optimize material flow thorough the warehouse (receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping)
• Ensure quality and accuracy with outgoing shipments

• BS in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or another related field
• 5+ years of experience in Distribution Operations
• 2+ years of leadership experience; ability to connect with and motivate your team
• Proven ability to develop and document procedures
• Strong understanding of Quality Systems/ISO 9000
• Ability to communicate clearly to all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge of WMS

• MBA
• Experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical distribution
• CDR license (California/Florida)
• Tecsys
• Experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
