OverviewQuanta Manufacturing Nashville (QMN) is expanding and seeking a Production Technician to perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of computer servers and components. The role ensures product quality by repairing and testing units to meet specifications and reporting quality‑related issues.
Purpose of PositionPerform diagnostics and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software applications while assisting the repair process. Responsible for ensuring product quality through repairing and testing of product to ensure specifications are met. Documents issues, and reports potential quality related problems to quality management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Test and diagnose servers and components.
- Repair or replace parts as necessary for servers.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and complete applicable documentation.
- Use tools and test equipment to diagnose server issues.
- Disassemble and/or reassemble units according to work instructions.
- Order correct parts using proper procedures.
- Test units according to work instructions and process flows.
- Inspect products to ensure they are labeled correctly.
- Complete applicable paperwork accurately.
- Enter repair data accurately into the QMS shop floor system.
- Document and communicate repair issues to engineering.
- Collect and analyze data for problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- 6 months to 1 year technical repair experience in a related field.
- 6 months to 1 year experience debugging and testing electro‑mechanical assemblies.
- Plus Certification (preferred).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Computer literate in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Internet).

- Read, understand, and follow all Work Instructions for each function performed.
- Work in compliance with safety and all training.
- Adhere to and support QMN corporate policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good visual color perception.
- Ability to stand, stoop, and bend.
- Walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.
