Sinomax is currently hiring for experienced Forklift operator for 2nd shift. Key responsibilities include receiving and unloading freight both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; checking for damaged goods; verifying quantity and quality of order; verifying items received with purchase order; wrapping, packaging, and shipping supplies; and moving finished goods to trucks for transport to the shipping facility.

Additional responsibilities include inspecting lift truck and completing daily lift truck inspection form at the beginning of each shift; mounting and dismounting the lift truck throughout the shift to check product; scanning product information to enter details and complete necessary paperwork; confirming container/product quality by verifying tag numbers with report information; assembling and packaging materials to relocate to designated areas; notifying supervision of any materials unable to locate;

maintaining good working condition of the equipment; inspecting dock doors, chocks, pull chains, bumpers and pads and notifying supervision of any repair needs; reporting any incidents immediately; and working safely with complete adherence to all safety procedures.

Qualifications include maintaining lift truck certification; previous lift truck experience preferred; reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, walking, and squatting throughout shift; ability to work around heavy industrial equipment and lift up to 50 lbs.; and must be able to distinguish color and shade differences. Computer knowledge and data entry skills are also required.
