Job Description

Summary:

Assist with day-to-day operations of the department including but not limited to providing support for production including tracking budgets, financial record-keeping, and managing box office and front of house for our theatrical season.

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the department including tracking budgets, financial record-keeping, and managing box office and front of house for the theatrical season.

• Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate program at the University of La Verne.
• Must demonstrate familiarity with tools/techniques related to theatre publicity (e.g., computer software, video, or computer programming) by providing a letter of recommendation that speaks to character and experience.

• Ideal candidates will have worked on more than one high school or college theatre production and can demonstrate skills in graphics, writing, and video production by portfolio or recommendation letter.
• Patience, sense of humor, and a sincere desire to help others achieve the highest levels of success in theatre production to foster lifelong learning, diversity, and community building.

Flexible schedule working weekdays, some evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates can work 20 hours a week.
