Job Description SummaryThe Senior Gift Processor will play a key role in managing and processing gifts, donations, and pledges to the University. This individual will ensure the accurate and timely recording of all gifts, assist in maintaining donor records, and collaborate with various teams within the Advancement office to support fundraising initiatives. The Senior Gift Processor will also generate gift receipts, reports, and help maintain data integrity in the donor management system.
Minimum Qualifications- Two years of experience in gift processing, preferably in a higher education or nonprofit setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Knowledge of IRS regulations governing charitable donations and tax reporting is a plus.
- Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment, with willingness to learn new systems or adjust to changing organizational needs.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience in gift processing, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience with donor management software (e.g., Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, Ellucian) highly preferred.
