Job Description
This course is designed to enable students with an introductory knowledge in the disciplines pertinent and content appropriate to teaching quality physical education to elementary children grades K-6. ________________________________________ The University of La Verne is a private not-for-profit university founded in 1891 located in La Verne, California. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Education
- Evidence of knowledge (coursework or experience) with the basic principles of the CA Public Schools Physical Education Framework
- Evidence of scholarly commitment (conferences, committees, published works)*
- Experience teaching (level dependent upon course)
- Experience teaching within a K-8 setting
- Multiple Subject/Single Subject Credential (experience in the arts and/or art integrations
