As an Account Manager (AM) for AARDVARK, you will be responsible for selling existing products and introducing new products or services to established and potential clients at a tactical sales level. Customers communicate with the AM for general product and service information, to request quotations, place orders, establish lead times, and receive updates as needed. The AM is responsible for the accurate execution of quotes and orders, timely follow-up with customers, and maintaining high service standards.

Account Managers are responsible for Key Performance Indicators set by the Director of Sales and the Account Management Supervisor. This position reports directly to the Account Management Supervisor
. The role is onsite in La Verne, CA.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accurate data entry of customer information, quotes, and orders into Odoo CRM
    .
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Work with the Sales Team to develop and implement tactical sales goals with the assigned customer base.
  • Provide inside support.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service: discuss product features and benefits, pricing, credit terms, interpret federal and local contracts and process sales orders.
  • Conduct cold calls to agencies in specific channels to obtain points of contact for marketing and potential sales.
  • Maintain and expand the Odoo CRM client base.
  • Maintain existing deals to ensure pipeline follow through, and create new deals as needed.
  • Support the manufacturer communication channel during the sales process.
  • Attend sales group meetings and conference calls.
  • Handle order cancellations or changes and communicate those changes to relevant departments.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager on order status from manufacturers to ensure delivery commitments are met.
  • Qualify leads for Sales pipeline.
  • Capture accurate and complete information into Odoo CRM
    .
  • Work with Account Management Supervisor to successfully close strategic business.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to promote products, services, and events to the client base.
  • Light travel for sales demos and sizing tactical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-year background experience in inside/outside sales.
  • Experience with Odoo (or similar CRM/ERP systems) is required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong project management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with Law enforcement preferred.
  • Willing to travel (locally).
