The Waldinger Company has an opportunity for a qualified Manager, VDC in our [Location] Office.

Job Summary :

Oversees the strategic implementation and management of Virtual Design and Construction services within the organization. Drives the adoption of digital technologies to optimize project workflows, improves collaboration, and achieves efficiency in construction projects.

Responsibilities :

• Operational Leadership :
  Develops the operational plan and goals for VDC services, ensuring they align with the construction division’s goals. Leads the integration of VDC processes into project planning, design, coordination, and construction phases.
• Project Execution and Coordination :
  Collaborates with project teams to implement VDC strategies that improve project outcomes, including cost management, schedule adherence, and quality control. Oversees the development and coordination of VDC models and digital workflows across multiple projects.
• Technology Implementation :
  Evaluates, recommends, and implements VDC tools, software, and technologies to enhance project efficiency and collaboration. Stays informed about emerging trends and advancements in VDC technologies and their potential impact on construction practices.
• Quality Assurance and Innovation :
  Establishes and enforces quality assurance processes and standards for VDC deliverables. Promotes a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the VDC team and across project teams.
• Reporting and Analytics :
  Prepares and presents reports on VDC performance, project metrics, and ROI to senior management and stakeholders. Analyzes data and metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements :

• 10+ years of design experience with 3-5 of leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Occasional Travel
