Position: Controller for Multi-Entity Operations
Lead the financial operations as a Controller for a diversified organization in Labrador City, NL. Manage complex accounting tasks across multiple entities while ensuring compliance and financial accuracy.

We are seeking a skilled Controller to oversee full-cycle accounting and financial operations for a well-established organization operating across Atlantic Canada. This senior role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing reporting, budgeting, and supporting a small accounting team. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards while enhancing financial processes and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting operations across multiple business units

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual statements

• Manage financial reporting and compliance requirements

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Mentor and support an accounting team of 2-4 staff

Requirements:

• CPA designation preferred or equivalent experience

• Extensive full-cycle accounting experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Experience with multi-entity operations is a strong asset
