The EAL Teacher will deliver approved curricula while collaborating with educators and families. This position requires travel between schools and a commitment to creating a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess English language learning competencies regularly

• Provide direct instruction in class and small groups

• Collaborate with teachers to improve student outcomes

• Implement effective teaching strategies and feedback

• Support language and literacy development across cultures

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education degree required

• NL Teaching Certificate - Level IV or higher

• Major in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)

• Valid Driver’s License for travel between schools

• Knowledge of trauma-informed teaching practices preferred
