Position: Mechanical Designer for Heavy Industry
Join the mechanical department at Norda Stelo, focusing on innovative designs for conveyors and industrial structures. This role requires expertise in Solid Works and experience in industrial facility design.

As a Mechanical Designer, you'll develop layouts, models, and general arrangements, ensuring robust engineering solutions for heavy industrial applications. You will also engage in short-term travel for site inspections and construction management, enhancing project accuracy and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare mechanical designs and layouts for industrial facilities

• Model engineering solutions using Solid Works and AutoCAD

• Conduct field measurements and condition inspections

• Collaborate with clients and contractors effectively

• Maintain detailed records of design criteria and specifications

Requirements:

• Formal education in design and drafting

• Proficient in design software like AutoCAD, Plant3D

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience in marine terminals or process plants is an asset

• Valid BC driver’s license preferred
