Position: Electrical Engineer at Rio Tinto in Labrador City

In this residential position, you will support Technical Services by implementing engineering standards and collaborating with diverse teams. The role demands expertise in electrical engineering, focusing on safety, reliability, and operational performance. You will address complex engineering challenges and influence project outcomes while ensuring adherence to engineering standards and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support for electrical system improvements

• Conduct technical reviews of project designs

• Lead electrical engineering studies and asset improvements

• Maintain Single Line Diagrams and ETAP Models

• Train new team members on IOC practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power specialization

• Professional Engineer registration or eligibility

• Expertise in industrial electrical systems

• Experience with medium- and low-voltage distributions

• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
