Licensed Practical Nurses with geriatric or palliative care interests can work onsite in chronic or long-term care facilities. English is required.
This Licensed Practical Nurse opportunity requires practical nursing education and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience. The work setting is chronic or long-term care, with specialization in geriatrics and palliative care. Candidates must meet provincial or territorial licensing eligibility and registration requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide practical nursing care in long-term care facilities
- Support residents receiving geriatric care
- Support residents receiving palliative care
- English language ability
- One-to-two-year practical nursing certificate or diploma
- 7 months to less than 1 year experience
- Eligibility for provincial or territorial practical nurse licensure
- Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination completion
