Position: Beauport Music Lessons Teacher Needed
Long & McQuade is hiring a Music Lessons Teacher in Beauport, QC, as an independent contractor. Teach students of all ages in various instruments like piano, guitar, and voice.

This contract position offers the opportunity to share your musicianship and teaching skills at Long & McQuade’s on-site Lesson Centre. Candidates must have a music degree or diploma, or equivalent experience, and a strong background in teaching students of varied ages. Your knowledge of standard teaching methods is crucial for tailoring lessons effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide lessons on instruments and voice for all ages

• Create customized lesson curriculum for students

• Implement effective teaching methods in classes

• Monitor and assess student progress regularly

• Engage students in a supportive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• Music degree or recognized diploma, or professional equivalency

• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Extensive teaching experience across age groups

• Familiarity with lesson planning and pedagogical approaches

• Enthusiasm for fostering a love of music
