We are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Teladoc Health Canada. Key Responsibilities:

• Create scalable backend APIs and services using Java and Spring Boot

• Work with product and QA teams to refine requirements

• Maintain robust data-access layers and complex queries

• Participate in unit and integration testing for system reliability

• Implement security best practices for sensitive healthcare data

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in backend software development

• Degree in computer science or equivalent experience

• Proficient in API design and backend service architecture

• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD frameworks

• Knowledge of asynchronous systems and event-driven architecture
