Join Pomerleau as a Surveying Technician to support our civil engineering projects.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate measurements and effective project execution on large construction sites.

We are looking for a surveying technician to work within our civil engineering and infrastructure team  will conduct field surveys, place markers for construction, and keep all project stakeholders updated on progress. The position requires 1 to 2 years of civil construction experience to ensure effective supervision and communication on complex projects ranging from 1.5 million to over one billion dollars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use surveying instruments for field data collection

• Set out construction points and markers accurately

• Communicate essential project information to teams

• Supervise work to ensure compliance with specifications

• Collaborate to build a positive team environment

Requirements:

• DEP, AEC, or surveying/civil engineering Certificate

• 1-2 years of experience in civil construction

• Valid ASP Construction & SIMDUT 2015 certifications

• Class 5 driver’s license required

• Proficient with surveying technology (GPS, total station)
