Instructor, Biomedical Engineering
The School of Engineering has need for a full-time engineering instructor. The instructor will teach a new vocational engineering technician program designed to prepare vocational students to become biomedical electronics technicians. Teaching assignments may include lecture courses or lab courses. Possibilities exist to teach other engineering courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well. We are interested in instructors with backgrounds in biomedical engineering, electronics, or biomedical instrumentation.

Position Responsibilities: Excellence in teaching is at the core of Saint Martin’s University. We expect you to be an excellent teacher, to be current in engineering, to engage students actively in their own learning, and to set high standards regarding course content. You are expected to provide students with feedback on their coursework in a timely and meaningful manner.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, or related area.
- Demonstrated potential for successful teaching at the university level
- Experience with biomedical electronics, testing, repair, or troubleshooting is highly desired.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or higher in electrical engineering or biomechanical engineering.
- Demonstrated successful teaching ability at the university level
