Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Hospice​/Palliative Care

American Traveler is hiring a Hospice Admissions RN with at least 2 years of recent hospice experience and WA or compact RN licensure for a 4x10 day shift schedule.

• Active WA or compact RN license required, in hand prior to start
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospice experience required
• Proficiency in HCHB charting system required
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required
• Hospice/Home Health Checklist completion required

• Hospice setting providing admissions care for geriatric patients
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
• Day shift schedule working Sunday-Wednesday, 4x10 hour shifts (8:00 AM-6:30 PM)
• Uses HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR system
• No on-call responsibilities required for this position
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
• Travelers expected to be flexible with assigned territory
• Responsible for timely documentation and communication of patient care
• Scrubs required in any color, jeans not permitted
• iPad provided for use during assignment
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Monday orientation required, including completion of billable training modules
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Former permanent employees must be separated for a minimum of 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler will be assigned to their own territory and must have their own transportation
• Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
