Job DescriptionThe Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental compliance in their assigned store(s). Responsibilities include identifying theft incidents, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture. Additional duties involve preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.
The role requires reporting hazardous conditions, minimizing injury risks, demonstrating integrity, and supporting operational and asset protection concerns while focusing on store objectives.
