. Med Trans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers delivering lifesaving medical products directly to commercial and residential customers. The fleet consists of 1,900+ trucks and a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally, with 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

The Driver is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport life-saving medical products to local customers. Build positive relationships with customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries. This is a late-evening start position (routes start between 7 PM and 11 PM) covering a 200-mile radius. This is a touch-freight position, delivering to area hospitals and urgent care clinics.

The right candidate should be able to work either a Saturday or a Sunday as part of their work week.

Rate of pay
: $29.50 per hour. This position is eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route. Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed and performing safety checks.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to customers – address questions and needs and provide appropriate documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with the dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to delivery route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use.

• Required:
  
  Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer driving experience
• Class A CDL; licensed to operate assigned vehicle
• Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operating commercial motor vehicles
• Clean driving record with no serious violations

The anticipated salary range for this position is $25.25 - $35.25 per hour
. The actual salary varies based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline does not pay less than applicable minimum wage or salary thresholds. Benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. Variants for part-time roles may differ.
