Truck Driver - Local Class A Doubles Floater

Full-time Local Class A Doubles CDL Truck Drivers

Compensation

• Earn $33 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours
• $2 per hour incentive when covering doubles
• Local, home daily

What you will do

• Floater position
• Perform multi-stop deliveries of windshields as needed
• Unload trailer using rolling carts as needed
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered as needed

Schedule

• 5-day work week:
  Monday-Saturday
• Possible split days off
• Average 50 to 55 hours per week
• Home daily

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Doubles endorsement required
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency as required by federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Work the required schedule, at the required location, complete Penske employment application, undergo background investigation and drug screening
• Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; must maintain safety-conscious behavior

Physical Requirements

• See and hear; vision includes close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment
• Move frequently; stand, walk, and sit as needed; lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
