Courier​/Swing Drvr​/DOT

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex service features; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; performs related customer service functions; and performs other duties as assigned.

• Minimum Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Six (6) months courier experience and demonstrated area knowledge.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
  • Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
  • Adaptability, dependability, and reliable courier methods.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries per FMCSA enforcement guidance.

• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Must meet and maintain federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements and maintain a good driving record.
• Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

• Pay range: $24.53/hr – $37.23/hr.
• Full‑time schedule:
  Monday – Thursday, 7 AM – 5 PM.
