The City of Laconia is seeking an experienced individual to project costs, draft construction documents and inspect various public and private infrastructure improvement projects along with other construction/ engineering technician responsibilities.
Salary Range: $27.75 - $41.97
Position requires knowledge of principles and practices of construction, Excel, GIS, Laser Level, word processing and data-based software, basic budgetary principles and practices and the ability to plan. Must have knowledge of applicable state, federal and local laws, rules and regulations.
Minimum qualification - High School diploma or GED and one to two years of progressively responsible related experience in the construction trades, or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job. A valid driver’s license is required. CDL-B with air brakes and tanker endorsement is a plus.
